How to make a sample slide



Before you can get started looking at samples, you need to learn how to prepare them for slides. This video is an introduction on how to prepare your own sample slide. It takes a little practice! 

Adult supervision recommended when handling sharp cutting instruments. Please always be careful when cutting your samples.

How to look at sample slides

This video will introduce you to how to look at samples on slides in your Foldscope microscope. It can be tricky at first. Make sure you have a good light source!  Also, using a phone camera can help tremendously with accessibility and ease of use. Simply lining up your phone's camera with the eye slot can produce great clear images of your sample!
